Sivestar Indian Tacos | Our Story
Indian food, Mexican style, Oak Hill
Sivestar is Indian food served in a Mexican style, and we've been doing it in Oak Hill since 2022. Tacos, burritos and bowls, all built around Indian spices.
The founder's road
Our founder trained in culinary arts in India and worked on cruise lines before opening Chola Indian Restaurant in 2006. Chola served Indian food until 2011, and a decade with Asiana Indian Cuisine came after.
Why we switched in 2022
After handing over Asiana, we wanted to make something different. So we took tacos, burritos and other Mexican favorites and reimagined them with Indian spices.
The name
"Sive" comes from our children's names. "Star" is for our Texas roots.
Tortillas made in front of you
We roll and cook your tortilla while you watch, so it lands hot in your hands. And if you'd rather have a plate, the biryani and tikka are there too.
Try it before you pick
If you're on the fence between fillings, ask for a sample. You can see everything before it goes on your plate, and we're happy to talk you through it.
